Mercedes-Benz Museum. Stuttgart

‘Mercedes’ somehow reminds me of childhood. Not because I owned it or something but it was probably the only luxury car brand known to me then. I don’t own it now either but now I am aware of other brands as well! While filling up slam books for my friends in school my patent answer to “You wish to own” question was a “Mercedes-Benz Car”. Not much has changed though, I still wish to own one. But then, or till the time I visited this one in 2013, I never knew that Mercedes-Benz has it’s own goddamn museum. Varanasi – City of Gods

Banaras, Kashi, Varanasi whatever you call it, they all lead you to the same place on the world map, i.e., the longest living city. Vedic Culture, Ethnic Tribes, Mahabharata, Buddha, Mughals, British, World Wars, riots, Banaras has seen it all, as the archaeological evidences advocate traces of civilization back in 2000 BC. None of this could steal the essence of this city and Banaras is still raw and pure at heart.

Readers might feel that we are obsessed with Durga Puja. The fact is we live in Kolkata and we actually are obsessed with Durga Puja! 10 things to do in the Land of Jagannath – Puri

‘Puri’ is considered to be the ultimate holiday destination in our part of the world (read West Bengal) and almost everybody we know has been there more than twice at least. Easy accessibility, inexpensiveness, religious values and everlasting beaches have made this place a comfort getaway for all age groups. And we, the self-proclaimed travelers had not been there even once and we have been mocked at and looked down upon for that. Yes, really!
